Additional	Bring your own sack lunch, beverage, and lawn chair. Directions: Take Smyth Hollow Rd. east off county highway G or west off of State Highway 58 to Pregal Rd, The east and west ends of Pregal Rd. intersect with Smyth Hollow; The east end of Smyth Hollow intersects with Highway G and the west end intersects with Highway 58. The site is several miles south of Cazenovia.

Theme for the day is the challenges of intermediate treatments and thinning.

9:00 AM Meet and greet over coffee and snacks followed by a brief business meeting and a short presentation on the history of the farm.

10:15 AM Plantation management, pulp industry, sawmill demo.

12:15 Lunch (byo)

3:00 AM Return to shed. Optional walking tour to see sugar maple and red oak.
